A Review On Buono Panini Bistro Salem New Hampshire

It’s not often I will do a blog post on a review of a restaurant but I felt this was one of those exceptional times that it should be written.

Tara Kennedy, owner and true woman entrepreneur had a vision to open her own restaurant. Well about a year ago her dream came true. She had the opportunity to buy out the prior owner on Buono Panini Bistro on 438 South Broadway in Salem NH.

She set into place the best chef, bartenders and wait staff in the area, crossed her fingers and opened the doors. Tara prides herself on only the best of the best and after you meet her you will understand that there is no room for second best.

My wife and I have had dinner there several times and have never been disappointed in the quality, quantity or service  we received as customers. The atmosphere is contemporary yet warm and inviting. The music in the background was at the perfect decibel so you didn’t get drowned out by while having a conversation.

We have since told many of our friends and they too have enjoyed Buono Panini Bistro.

Recently I met Tara at BJ’s Wholesale Club and in our conversation she told me that she had started serving breakfast on Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

Now I know what you’re thinking that’s just what we need another breakfast place on Rt. 28 in Salem NH, well I’m here to say the experience my wife and I had was second to none. Breakfast quality, quantity, and service seamlessly carried down from dinner without hesitation.

I ordered their signature breakfast “Buono Breakfast”. To rate this breakfast from a scale of 1 to 10 was undoubtedly a 10+!!!

The three eggs I had were over easy and had just the right amount of yoke that when you pierced it covered the whites perfectly, There were 4 rashes of bacon the were lean and crisp and cooked from end to end I didn’t see any signs of excess fat (Perfect consistency). The generous portion of  ham was some of the leanest, tastiest meat I’ve had a any 4 star restaurant. The 2 sausages had a perfect crisp casing and melted in your mouth. The French toast had just the right amount of egg wash and cooked to a golden brown, The toast was also toasted perfectly, cut in quarters and buttered on the inside. I’m saving the best part for last. Here it is… The Home fries, yes theses diced up pieces of heaven were seasoned and cooked to the perfect crispness outside and softness inside, sauteed with the potatoes were just the right amount of peppers and onions mixed through to make you want to order more even when you’re full. Undoubtedly the best home fries I’ve ever had.

Now understand this doesn’t come without a price. In my experience going to many brunches and breakfast places be prepared to pay an extra $1.00 than the competition. I say this is jest because in my opinion there is “NO COMPETITION” and you’ll find this out when you dine at Buono Panini. Everything is made to order, even the home fries. Nothing is pre-made in batches sitting around for hours.

Please let me disclose that I am a customer just like you. No one asked or paid me to write this post. I just have felt that in my life people deserve to be recognized for their efforts if it’s worth it. Believe me it’s worth meeting Tara Kennedy and dining at Buono Panini Bistro.
